Azimio unveils Senate, National Assembly leadership

Azimio la Umoja One Kenya on Saturday announced its leadership at the Senate and the National Assembly.

Wiper leader Kalonzo Musyoka, a principal in the coalition, unveiled the list in a press conference at a Jaramogi Oginga Odinga Memorial at Upper Hill, Nairobi.

At the National Assembly, Kalonzo announced that they have settled on Ugunja MP Opiyo Wandayi as the minority leader and will be deputised by his Kathiani counterpart Robert Mbui.

The coalition has appointed Mombasa Senator Steward Madzayo as Senate minority leader and will be deputised by Kitui senator Enock Wambua.

Isiolo Senator Fatuma Dulo has been appointed the minority whip and will be deputised by her Nairobi counterpart Edwin Sifuna.

At the National Assembly, Suna east MP Junet Mohamed has been appointed the coalition's Chief Minority Whip and will be deputised by nominated MP Sabina Chege.
