Lekolool is a family man and Kenya Navy soldier who made history to become first Navy officer to be appointed as an ADC in the country.

He is the son of the late Principal Commissioner, Francis Lekolool.

Lekolool was appointed right after his predecessor, Victor Mburu, left the job to further his studies on matters of National security.

He was Uhuru's third bodyguard since he ascended to power in 2013.

Some of the key roles performed by Stelu away from the obvious perceived standing behind the President and opening doors when the Head of State travels include detail leader, assistant detail leader, tactical commander, motorcade lead, advance lead, mobile agent, static agent and protective intelligence agent.
