Rongai MP Raymond Moi has accused UDA elected leaders of intimidating voters during Monday's parliamentary election.

Speaking after casting his vote at Mercy Njeri Primary School polling center, Moi wondered why IEBC allowed elected leaders to be agents.

"We had agreed that no elected leaders would act as agents but now I can see UDA leaders have been issued IEBC badges and they can access polling stations and centers at will," he said.

Moi claimed that his supporters were afraid of coming out to vote after learning that the UDA MPs, senators and governors were at the polling centers.

He accused the leaders of campaigning on election day and voter bribery.

"They are waylaying voters, bribing them and coercing them to vote in their candidate," he said.

Moi said IEBC had allowed only two agents per polling station per candidate but his main opponent, UDA's Paul Chebor was allowed more agents.
