The Judicial Service Commission has set dates for the interviews for the office of judge of the High Court of Kenya.
In a statement, JSC chief registrar Ann Amadi said the interviews will be between September 19 and November 3.
Amadi said the interviews will take place at the JSC office boardroom, Reinsurance Plaza, Taifa Road in Nairobi.
Applicants are required to visit the Commission website www.jsc.go.ke to get the full list of candidates who successfully got the chance.
Amadi said they will also get the specific dates and times scheduled for the interviews.
JSC had on March 24 appealed to Kenyans to apply for the 20 vacant positions in the office of the High Court.
“Following the declaration of vacancies in the Offices of: Judge of the Court of Appeal and Judge of the High Court vide Gazette Notices No. 2529 and 2530 dated 11″ March 2022, the JSC invites applications from qualified persons to fill the vacancies pursuant to Article 172(1)(a) and as read with Article 166 (1)(b), (2), (4) and (5), Section 30 of the Judicial Service Act and the First Schedule of the Judicial Service Act (No. 1 of 2011),” JSC said.
JSC is mandated in the constitution to promote and facilitate the independence and accountability of the Judiciary.
