President elect William Ruto speaks at Bomas of Kenya on August 15, 2022

President-elect William Ruto is expected to address the country from around 12 noon.

In a communication to media houses, Ruto said the address will follow a meeting with elected leaders from the August 9 election, who are allied to his party.

He is currently chairing the inaugural meeting of elected Governors, Members of National Assembly and Senators under the Kenya Kwanza Alliance. 

Ruto was declared Ruto as the president-elect by IEBC chairman Wafula Chebukati on Monday.

The communication was made by his director of communications Hussein Mohammed.
