UDA presidential candidate William Ruto has won the majority votes in Ainabkoi constituency in Uasin Gishu, the IEBC has said. 

Ruto garnered 35,401 against the Azimio la Umoja candidate Raila Odinga who got 8,620.

The number of registered voters was 62,611 of which 265 were rejected.

George Wajackoyah of Roots Party got 90 votes, while David Mwaure of Agano Party had 50 votes.

The commission has to verify results from all 290 constituencies and the diaspora votes before announcing the presidential winner.
