UDA flagbearer in the state house race Deputy William Ruto took the lion's share in the Lari constituency presidential tally.
Ruto trounced Azimio's Raila Odinga by garnering 47,315 votes out of 56,856 valid votes cast.
Raila came in second with 9,162 votes.
Agano's candidate Waihiga Mwaure got 170 votes while the Roots George Wajackoyah garnered 209 votes.
IEBC noted that the constituency had 81,196 registered voters and 299 votes were marked as rejected ballots.
The electoral agency also said they will also verify diaspora votes before releasing the final tally.
