UDA's Sylivanus Osoro recaptures South Mugirango MP seat

The UDA candidate retained the seat with 25,152 votes.

South Mugirango MP Sylivanus Osoro has retained his seat. 

The UDA candidate battled against all odds to recapture the seat with 25,152 votes.

His closest rival, Denis Makori aka Sonko (ODM) came second with 21,710 votes.

Osoro said his victory has put the 'deep state' to shame.

"I thank God and the people of South Mugirango who put their total trust in me this second time," said Osoro after he was declared winner by the IEBC constituency returning officer.
