•Wajackoyah said the reports are false and blames bloggers, moles in Roots Party for political disinformation.
Roots party presidential candidate George Wajackoyah has said he is still in the presidential race despite the recent reports that he is endorsing Azimio presidential candidate Raila Odinga.
Wajackoyah said the reports are false and blames bloggers, moles in Roots Party for political disinformation.
"I have acknowledged all my colleagues, I acknowledged Ruto when I was in Eldoret, I also asked the government to leave Ruto alone when it's time for his final rally," he said.
He said he was genuine when he was making such remarks.
"It was from my heart....then Azimio supporters said I was Ruto's project," he said.
Wajackoyah said he did the same when he went to Raila's backyard in Bondo.
"When I went to Nyanza in Bondo in a club, in Kisumu, I praised Raila, and I will still praise him , I thanked Raila for what he has done for this country," he said.
"I told people some of us enjoy this freedom because this man has sacrificed, I'm the kind of person to acknowledge what good people have done, the rest that is being said is propaganda."
On Wednesday, the Roots presidential running mate Justina Wamae said Wajackoyah is supporting Raila.
"It's true the allegations that my principal and party leader is supporting Azimio. But we have not discussed that as a Party, we have not agreed and neither have I been consulted," she said.
Wamae said in the event his party leader endorses Raila, she will support UDA's William Ruto.
