A househelp who allegedly compelled a four-year-old girl to touch her private parts has been charged at a Kibera court.
Lilian Kamene Daudi was charged before Kibera chief Magistrate Ann Mwangi where she denied the charges.
The offence, the charge sheet says, was committed on unknown dates between the month of April 2021 and June 2022 at Exeter court Kilimani area in Dagoreti Sub-county within Nairobi county.
She was charged with the other count of intentionally and unlawfully using her finger/tongue to penetrate her private parts of J.S.A a child aged four years.
The accused person was charged with another count of committing an indecent act with the child contrary to section 11(I) of the sexual offence act.
The accused person while in court said that the offence was fabricated.
According to the court papers, the matter was revealed after the minor cried loudly at night during the nightmare pleading with the ' aunty' the accused person to spare her.
The magistrate directed that the matter be mentioned later in the day before another court for pre-trial.
“Let this matter be mentioned today for pre-trial as the victim is a minor hence the need to fast track the case,” said Mwangi.
She was granted a bond of Sh200,000 or a cash bail of Sh100,000 with the surety of the same amount.
The court is yet to give further directions on the hearing date.
