Ruto's UDA is the most popular party in Kenya – Tifa poll

Raila Odinga's Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) garnered 34 per cent in the popularity rating.

William Ruto-led United Democratic Alliance (UDA) is the most popular party in Kenya, new TIFA research results have shown.

UDA is leading with 41 per cent compared to Raila Odinga's Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) which garnered 34 per cent in the popularity rating.

President Uhuru Kenyatta's Jubilee Party comes in third with six percent ,Wiper Democratic Movement 3 percent and Roots Party at two percent.

In their last polls on July 11, 2022, UDA was still  leading with 33 per cent compared to ODM  which garnered 26 per cent in the popularity rating.

The poll had +/- 2.16 margin of error

The survey conducted between July 21 to July 26 where 2,056 respondents were across 9 regions across the country.

The regions include Central Rift, Coast, Lower Eastern, Mt Kenya, Nairobi, Northern  , Nyanza, South Rift and Western.

The data  was collected  using face to face interviews at households.
