Notable names UDA has proposed to nominate for Parliament

Waruguru landed the National Assembly nomination while Nyamu was handed a Senatorial slot.

This now breathes new life into the dimmed political careers of the two young women whose political ambitions had taken a turn for the worst.  

In April, Nyamu shelved her senatorial ambition and threw her support behind Bishop Margaret Wanjiru.

Previously in the 2017 general elections, Nyamu unsuccessfully contested the Nairobi Women Representative seat which was won by Esther Passaris.
