Roots party presidential candidate George Wajackoyah has arrived for presidential debate at Catholic University of Eastern Africa.

Wajackoyah said despite him availing himself in the venue, his conditions still stand.

“I am not going to debate unless we are four, that is what I have come to confirm, they never responded to my letter, if the media wants to corrupt the intelligence of this society, if the media wants to run corruption in this country, if the media itself can do what they have done, to hell with them,” he said as he arrived at the CUEA on Tuesday.

Wajackoyah had initially announced he will not attend the presidential debate.

He said he will not be subjected to 'the joke of an already predetermined debate.

"We would like to state that our presidential candidate Prof Wajackoyah will not attend the presidential debate because we will not subject the incoming President to the joke of an already predetermined debate," reads the statement.

Wajackoyah said the fourth estate cannot decide the outcome of an election before the poll day.

He was referring to the presidential debate which has been divided into two sessions based on the recent poll results.
