Kenya kwanza deputy presidential candidate Martha Karua has arrived for the deputy presidential debate at the Catholic University of Eastern Africa (CUEA) in Karen, Nairobi.

Karua arrived in the company of her grandchildren.

"I am feeling good and you can see I am surrounded by my grandchildren," Karua said shortly after arriving at CUEA.

Journalists Sophia Wanuna (KTN) and James Smart (NTV) will moderate the debate.

The panel discussions prior and after will be moderated by Citizen TV anchor and presenter Trevor Ombija.
