Most parts of the country are likely to continue being dry, the latest forecast has shown.

Kisii, Nyamira, Trans Nzoia, Uasin Gishu, Elgeyo Marakwet, Nandi, Kericho, Bomet, Kakamega, Vihiga, Bungoma, West Pokot, Siaya, Kisumu, Homa Bay, Busia, Migori, Baringo, Nakuru and Narok counties will experience sunny mornings.

However, occasional rains may occur in a few places.

Afternoon, as well as night showers and thunderstorms, are expected over a few places occasionally spreading to several places.

Maximum (day-time) temperatures are likely to be as low as 19 degrees Celsius in Narok and as high as 29 degrees Celsius in Kisumu.

The minimum (night-time) temperatures are expected to be as low as seven degrees Celsius in Kabarak and Narok and as high as 20 degrees Celsius in Suba.

In Turkana and Samburu counties, days are expected to be generally sunny while nights will be partly cloudy.

However, there is a possibility of morning rains and night showers occurring over a few places.

Maximum (day-time) temperatures are likely to be as low as 23 degrees Celsius in Maralal and as high as 34 degrees Celsius in Lodwar.

The minimum (night-time) temperatures are expected to be as low as 11 degrees Celsius in Maralal and as high as 26 degrees Celsius in Lodwar.

In Nyandarua, Laikipia, Nyeri, Kirinyaga, Murang'a, Kiambu, Meru, Embu, Tharaka Nithi and Nairobi counties, mornings are likely to be cloudy, with occasional light rains over a few places, giving way to sunny intervals.

Occasional afternoon and night showers are expected over a few places. Maximum (day-time) temperatures are likely to be as low as 14 degrees Celcius in Kangema and as high as 27 degrees Celcius in Laikipia.

Minimum (night-time) temperatures are expected to be as low as 05oC in Nyahururu and as high as 14o C in Nairobi.
