Kenya Kwanza presidential candidate William Ruto will on Friday take his campaigns to Embu County.

Ruto and his running mate Rigathi Gachagua on Thursday launched their ambitious manifesto that allocates billions to “hustlers”, anchoring what he calls the most realistic model to end Kenya's economic crisis.

Azimio presidential candidate Raila Odinga and his running mate Martha Karua will on the other hand take the Azimio gospel to Nyamira County.

Raila on Thursday had taken his campaigns to Migori County.

Karua took the Azimio gospel to Kisii County which ended prematurely following a teargas explosion.

Mama Ida Odinga, the wife to Azimio Presidential candidate Raila Odinga, was also present at the rally.

Karua had taken to the podium to address the rally held at Kisii Stadium when the explosion occurred.

She was forced to exit the podium and walk back to her car leaving the venue of the meeting without addressing supporters.

The crowd that had gathered at the Stadium was forced to scamper for safety throwing the meeting into disarray.

This is part of their planned five-day tour of the Nyanza region.
