Raila, Kalonzo donate Sh3 million to Machakos fire victims

Azimio presidential candidate Raila Odinga and his Wiper counterpart Kalonzo Musyoka have donated Sh3 million to Machakos fire victims.

The duo donated Sh2 million and Sh1 million cash respectively to the traders who lost their properties to the inferno at Grogon market in Machakos County weeks ago.

The donations were presented to the victims by Kalonzo when he led Wiper leaders to the market on Tuesday.

He was accompanied by several Wiper leaders from Machakos County who included Machakos gubernatorial candidate Wavinya Ndeti, Senator Agnes Kavindu, Woman representative Joyce Kamene, MPs Patrick Makau (Mavoko), Stephen Mule (Matungulu) and Robert Mbui (Kathiani).

Wavinya gave her personal donation of Sh500,000, while both Kamene and Kavindu donated Sh100,000 each.
