Deputy President William Ruto on Monday took his campaigns to the Kenya Association of Manufacturers.

Ruto met the manufacturers at his Karen residence, where he pitched to them the plan he has for the sector and the country at large.

The meeting saw the market leaders present what they want addressed by the next government as well as the challenges they have faced in the current government.

This is part of his scaled up efforts to win over votes from as many professional associations as possible.

His competitor Raila Odinga will also take his campaigns to Kajiado on Monday.

On Sunday, DP Ruto held a rally that marred with chaos at the Jacaranda grounds in Nairobi.
