The Senate has pushed forward its indefinite adjournment to Tuesday next week to allow the House to transact pending business.

The Senate was scheduled to adjourn on Thursday evening to allow members to hit the campaign trail

Minority leader James Orengo moved the motion on Thursday evening.

Orengo said that the House has several pending businesses and that members had not been given the opportunity to contribute to the sine die motion.

Among the pending business pending is the debt ceiling that the members are expected to vote on.
