Ruto on a Kisii charm offensive as Raila courts Kitui county

Deputy President William Ruto will on Wednesday campaign in Kisii, in efforts to undo the inroads Raila Odinga has made in the county.

The DP's visit come barely three days after the Azimio la Umoja One Kenya Alliance presidential candidate campaigned in parts of Kisii county.

During his visit, Ruto will hold a series of meetings in Kisii where he will campaign across three Sub counties, including; Nyamache in Bobasi Constituency, Kenyenya in Bomachoge Borabu Constituency and Itierio in Bonchari Constituency.

Azimio presidential candidate Raila Odinga will continue with his tour of the Ukambani region with a visit to Kitui county.

He will be accompanied by Wiper leader Kalonzo Musyoka and Kitui Governor Charity Ngilu among other leaders from the region.

Raila's running mate Martha Karua will also take the Azimio gospel to Kirinyaga and Embu counties.

He will be accompanied by CS Peter Munya, among other leaders from the region.

On Tuesday, Raila campaigned in Makueni County where he sold the Azimio la Umoja-OKA plan for the country if elected in the August 9, General election.
