Two men were charged before a Nairobi court with causing assault contrary to the law
Frederick Kamau is accused of willfully and unlawfully assaulting Pierra Nyakio and Maria Kithome occasioning actual bodily harm.
Kamau also faces a charge of malicious damage to pair of spectacles worth Sh 20,200 and Sh 20,000, the property of the said complainants respectively.
The said offences were committed on June 5, along Ngara road within Nairobi county.
Oscar Kaunda on the other hand on May 22 at around 2230 hours in Koja, Nairobi county is accused of intentionally assaulting Henry Asembo causing him bodily harm.
Appearing before Chief Magistrate Wendy Micheni, the two pleaded not guilty to the charges pressed against them.
The accused persons were released on a cash bail of Sh50, 000 and Sh20, 000 respectively.
The cases will be mentioned on June 27, for pre-trial.
