Governor Ann Kananu on Wednesday hosted Azimio La Umoja One Kenya Alliance Nairobi governor seat candidate Polycarp Igathe at her office.

Kananu announced that she has dropped her bid to support Igathe.

Igathe was unveiled as the Azimio governor candidate on Friday by ODM leader Raila Odinga.

He will be deputized by the former Kibwezi MP Philip Kaloki who shelved his ambitions in Igathe's favor.

On Monday, former Governor Mike Sonko said he was going to campaign for Igathe adding that he has no political vendettas.
