Two workers were electrocuted in two separate incidents in Nairobi.

The victims were at construction sites in Langata and Kayole respectively when they touched the live wires.

The first incident happened in Njiru area where a casual labourer Samuel Ndenya, 22 was found dead at a site after he had been electrocuted.

His colleagues at the site said they realised he was motionless and later learnt he had touched naked wires that electrocuted him.

The second incident happened in Langata where another casual labourer Dennis Onchagu was repairing floor tiles. He stepped on a live wire that killed him on the spot.

Police were called to the scenes long after they had happened and picked up the bodies to the mortuary.

Nairobi police boss James Mugera said the bodies will be subjected to an autopsy to know how they died.
