Azimio La Umoja movement presidential flag bearer Raila Odinga on Wednesday held talks with Tanzania's Chadema party leader Freeman Mbowe.
The meeting took place in Nairobi and was also attended by the Narc Kenya leader Martha Karua.
During the meeting, Mbowe wished Kenyans peace and unity ahead of the August 9, elections.
They also asked Kenyans to be careful not to be taken back to the violence that happened in the 2007/8 Post Election Violence.
The meeting comes days after a Tanzanian court freed Mbowe and his three co-accused after the government withdrew the case against them.
Mbowe was arrested on July 21 and faced charges of financing acts of terrorism.
He denied the charges saying that he was in a meeting with party leaders before the arrest.
