Teachers who are found guilty of any exam malpractice will be dealt with, Teachers Service Commission CEO Nancy Macharia has said.
She asked Kenya National Examinations Council to submit the list of teachers found guilty to the commission.
"I congratulate and assure them that our teachers are prepared to receive all of them in secondary school next term," she said.
"Overall I wish to report that nearly all teachers involved in exams conducted themselves with utmost professionalism."
She said as a commission, they will recognize and award those who excel in the exam.
30 teachers who stood out in various aspects will be rewarded.
"TSC will act firmly if any of our teachers were involved and as we have said in the past, we will not allow a few teachers to soil the name of the council," Macharia said.
Currently, the country has a shortage of 114,000 teachers due to increased enrollment arising from the 100 per cent policy.
