IEBC meets suppliers, service providers ahead of August polls

Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission held a consultative meeting with the Directorate of Supply Chain Management and service providers on Monday ahead of the August 9, polls.

During the meeting, they discussed the delivery timelines of materials for the August polls.

"The Commission maintains an open-door policy and works round the clock to resolve all issues raised by suppliers and service providers to ensure they deliver all goods and services to the Commission on time," IEBC CEO Marjan said.

Director SCM, Harley Mutisya urged suppliers and service providers to communicate with accuracy on any issues that may hinder their ability to deliver on time to IEBC.

The IEBC Vice-Chairperson, Juliana Cherera thanked the suppliers and service providers for heeding the call to meet IEBC as the Commission prepares for the August polls.

They strategized on the delivery of materials that will be crucial in the delivery of credible polls.

Commissioner Francis Wanderi urged the suppliers and the service providers to ensure that they deliver the specified materials in the appropriate quantities and on time for the commission to attain its objective.
