ANC party leader Musalia Mudavadi and his Ford Kenya counterpart Moses Wetang'ula on Wednesday led a team of leaders allied to Kenya Kwanza Alliance in drumming up support for their camp ahead of August 9, elections.
The team that included allies of Deputy President William Ruto held a series of meetings in Naivasha, Nakuru county.
The team urged residents to register in large numbers and support the Kenya Kwanza Alliance in its bid to capture the presidency.
DP Ruto was absent during the rally.
This is the second time he is missing in action even as his allies take the lead in campaigning.
On Tuesday, the team held a series of rallies in Nairobi where he was also missing.
Leaders who attended the Naivasha meeting used the occasion to campaign against the ODM leader Raila Odinga saying he is not fit for the presidency.
Mudavadi reiterated his remarks that the ODM chief is a state project.
The leaders appealed to locals to support Kenya Kwanza Alliance and its leaders as saying their aim is to improve lives of Kenyans.
