The One Kenya Alliance (Oka) party has announced that it will deposit its coalition agreement to the Registrar of political parties on February 28.

This will pave the way for the official unveiling of the coalition that brings together four parties.

They are; Kanu led by Gideon Moi, Kalonzo Mysyoka's Wiper, Cyrus Jirongo's UDP and Martha Karua's Narc Kenya.

The leaders addressed a press conference at Stephen Kalonzo Musyoka Command Center in Karen, Nairobi, after signing a deed of assignment to officially allow the four parties to own the Alliance.

Gideon, who read a statement on behalf of his colleagues, said the Alliance's technical team has concluded working on the coalition agreement.

The Baringo senator said the Oka would be open to forming a coalition with other like-minded parties and coalitions.

Kalonzo said that Oka had been approached for a possible alliance with various parties.

He said they would hold their NEC meetings in the coming days to discuss and ratify any coalition with other parties.

"There have been approaches, but we want open and transparent negotiations, but this will be after the parties under Oka have engaged its organs," Kalonzo said.

But the former vice president sounded dismissive of teaming up with Kenya Kwanza Alliance, saying that the team will only join forces with parties committed to fighting graft and ensuring equity in the country.
