DCI boss George Kinoti has given Kenyans all the reasons to start up a conversation after unveiling the faces of the detectives behind DCI's social media posts.

Kinoti on Tuesday shared photos of the team that has left Kenyans elated on many occasions with their captivating narration of crime incidences.

The social media team has left Kenyans talking, with many ogling at the officers while others making cheeky comments on their appearance.

Many, especially women, couldn't keep calm as they asked Kinoti to give more details about the detectives; perhaps their numbers or social media handles.

One Michael Ollinga Oruko even tried to mimic their style of writing and wrote; "Hawk-Eyed lanky sleuths. The mob dismantled the miscreants' mandibular anatomy."

Ahmed Papa congratulated the officers for their job saying they "have great potential for anti-crime educational material."

"Documentaries, real-life crime stories, confessions, escapees, solved mysteries …… you have great potential for anti-crime educational material. You can start with Social Media, then youtube and probably grow to a full tv production. Hold on to it, it is new, it is different and it’s growing in popularity. Well done so far."

Kimuri Kia Mwangi also mimicked the officers' writing style by stating "Good team. We will thwart any plan to change the way the team communicates and any miscreant with a plan like that should be ready to receive an avalanche of words from us citizens."

Lydia Mathia inquired "Which one is the creative who writes the intriguing narratives on fb… ?"

Chebo Nandi said, "Eish DCI. Good morning from Nandi you fine fine hawk. Please eye my soul. Capture me! Release me! Recapture me!"

Olchore Lekulei asked Kinoti if the names of the officers who've written a specific name to have his by-line included at the end.

"Where is the guy who normally uses inverted pyramid style to write narrations? The narrations should have by-line credits so that we know whoever wrote."

When it comes to writing, these officers are never shy to go far and beyond with their vocabulary, a move that has become a favourite for many.

Their style of writing has attracted a huge liking, with some Kenyans like Jackson Nyantory, visiting their social media pages regularly just to get information while still getting entertained.

"Kudos! You're really a great team debunking the myths that police are not learned! Despite using heavy English jargon to scare criminals, your keeping us entertained and always finds ourselves on this page," Nyantory commented.
