The two who were inspecting the preparations said over 40,000 people from Murang'a and the surrounding counties are expected to attend.
Over 100 political leaders and prominent businessmen are also expected at the meeting that is scheduled to officially start at noon when Raila is expected to arrive.
Hundreds of residents are already streaming into the stadium with a host of popular local artists entertaining the milling crowd.
