Kakamega Senator Cleophas Malala has threatened to decamp from One Kenya Alliance if it associates with Orange Democratic Movement leader Raila Odinga.

Speaking in Bungoma on Friday during the OKA tour for voters haunt, Malala accused Raila of fooling Luhya leaders and sweet talking them when election period approaches.

He asked the ODM leader to distance him from OKA affairs and concentrate on his presidential ambition.

“I want Raila to get this clearly. Please avoid salivating for the OKA alliance. Just continue doing your campaigns as we do ours. This team is the one that will form the next government,” Malala said.

Malala said that during Raila’s handshake with President Uhuru Kenyatta, Raila went alone without remembering his NASA co- principals whom they walked together during the 2017 elections.

“I want Wetangula, Mudavadi and Kalonzo to learn a lesson from Raila after he went into agreement with President Kenyatta he forgot about NASA issues,” he said,

He asked the OKA principals to be focused and produce the next President of the Republic of Kenya.

However, Malala blamed Wiper Party leader Kalonzo Musyoka for inviting Raila Odinga in his Presidential bid launch, saying that Raila is the past tense and he should not be involved in OKA planning.

In Kalonzo’s reply, he told Malala that OKA cannot chase away anybody who is willing to support them, instead the Alliance will welcome leaders from all Kenyan tribes to make sure that they produce the next president.

“I want to tell my brother Malala that when a visitor comes into your house you cannot chase them away, instead welcome them. We have been in politics for a long time and OKA is a national alliance that should accommodate all leaders,” Kalonzo said.

Present during the OKA brigade were ANC leader Musalia Mudavadi, Ford Kenya party leader Moses Wetang’ula, Former Lugari MP Cyrus Jirongo among other MPs.
