The family of an MP from Nyanza is worried that the man's alcoholic habits have reached the red zone and could ruin his career well before the August 2022 general election. The man, the family fears, could fall into depression following his drinking habits. However, what has baffled many is what is drawing the brilliant chap into liquor. In circles of Parliament (pictured), waheshimiwa have been heard saying depression is real. The family now wants his colleagues to intervene and reach out to his party leader for advice. However, some of his opponents say this could just be a family tactic to blackmail his party.

Those in the know say he has been challenged by some of his close associates to seek a court interpretation if he will be cleared to run. The fear is that the man is committing financial suicide for a political mission impossible.

In recent times, the politico has been trying to quietly switch camps. All the bigwigs who were supporting him left him after he made the “political blunders”. In fact, another bigger group that he has been trying to assemble has also disintegrated and some members are likely to make their allegiance known. The politician has since gone slow on his activities.

Is Teachers Service Commission boss Nancy Macharia aware that a high school principal in Nakuru county is ruining the operations of the school? Corridors of Power has been informed that the teachers working under the board of management of the school have to part with bribes every time they are leaving the institution for greener pastures. In recent weeks, the principal has been compelling those leaving the institution to grease her palms if they want to be cleared. The affected teachers now want the teachers' employer to probe the wayward behaviour of the principal and hold her to account.
