PETROLINA WERE : No amount of pressure will stop Oka, it's alive and well

Oka is not a political project like other groupings, it has ideals and leaders fit to lead

In Summary

•All that Kenyans are calling for is a free, fair and democratic election process without monkey business.

President Uhuru Kenyatta is not vying in the next election. He has made that clear and the Constitution is also clear that he can only serve for 10 years.

By next year, he will complete his 10 years and Kenyans will get an opportunity to elect the next President.

All that Kenyans are calling for is a free, fair and democratic election process without monkey business.

Kenya is greater than political interests one might have and as a people, we should always endeavour to guard our peace and unity.

Those who want to be projects can go ahead and be projects.

For us in Oka it is about the unity and revival of our economy.

One Kenya Alliance is intact and well on it’s path to producing the next president.

There has been a fallacy being peddled around by our competitors that we lack strategy.

That is not true. There are clear timelines that have been set by the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission on when the campaigns should start and when to end.

As far as I am concerned, Oka is still within the set timelines and no one has flouted them. I cannot be our opponents who are pressuring us.

Oka is united and not one principal has indicated otherwise either in words or actions. Some people are trying to sell speculation that so and so is about to bolt out of Oka which is not true.

Our party leaders will sit down and agree on the best man to fly the presidential flag.

What should be clear is that they are all equal partners. Musalia Mudavadi, Kalonzo Musyoka, Gideon Moi and Moses Wetang'ula — each one of them has what it takes to be the next president.

It is not a one-man show. we need to have people who are accountable first to their peers then to the rest of the country.

If you cannot be accountable to anybody around you, your partners, then how will you account to Kenyans?

Having a team is better than moving around as one person, that is how we create dictators because they are not accountable to anyone.

When you have peers you are accountable to, you are a better leader. That is the essence of Oka.
