Already, there are plans to sponsor some court cases to derail the governor’s restructuring plans and frustrate the efforts to clean up the payroll. At the same time, some politicians are working on an elaborate plan to sponsor an impeachment motion in the coming months. The twin assault is well choreographed and could force the governor to cede some ground and suspend his radical purge.
