Wiper Democratic Movement party leader Kalonzo Musyoka has linked corruption to widespread poverty and inequality.

Speaking during a church service at Royal Christian Church in Ongata Rongai, Kalonzo said greedy politicians have stolen and enriched themselves.

He said this has made Kenyans surrender and accept corruption as normal as some even applaud thieving public figures.

The Wiper boss said the public threw in the towel on corruption and have instead decided to praise and adore thieves and that they even coined a phrase “my thief, my choice.”

Kalonzo has now dropped the Caleb tag (one of the spies sent by Moses to spy the land of Canaan) he was given when supporting Raila.

He now says he will adopt the Joshua tag (the leader who had the faith and the courage to lead Israelites to go to Canaan)  mantle to lead the Kenyans to Canaan.

Kalonzo said Kenya requires a paradigm shift post covid pandemic and that is why he is promising Kenyans a 24-hour economic model that will stimulate the economy and create jobs.

He encouraged Kenyans not to give up because a Kalonzo led government in 2022 will recover stolen wealth and revert it to the economy.

Kalonzo says the Covid-19 pandemic has worsened an already worse situation and thus he promises to make secondary education free to all to at least ease the burden on parents.

He urged the government to make every effort to vaccinate over 10 million Kenyans ahead of their targeted dates of December adding that the virus is killing people at a very high rate and the medication for those admitted are very expensive for a common mwananchi.

Leaders who accompanied him reiterated their stand that Kalonzo will not back any other leader in 2022 and that they are committed to traverse the entire country to sell a Kalonzo Presidency.
