Wiper Party has announced that it has began preparations to exit the National Super Alliance (NASA) coalition.
The party's National Executive Committee (NEC) unanimously agreed to exit Nasa.
Wiper leader Kalonzo Musyoka on Monday said that Wiper is now set to enter the One Kenya Alliance (OKA) party, urging the Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) party to do the same.
“We have unanimously agreed to exit Nasa and form a bigger coalition, OKA. We are killing Nasa but not killing other parties like ODM. We want to work with ODM, Jubilee and other parties. We welcome other parties because we in OKA will form the next government,” Kalonzo said.
Kalonzo also stated that ODM had finally reached an agreement with other Nasa parties on the best way to share the political parties funding.
He added that One Kenya Alliance affiliate parties are open to other like minded parties.
"If ODM joins OKA, they will negotiate on OKA presidential flag bearer but they have to convince OKA that they have better ideas," Kalonzo added.
Last week, the One Kenya Alliance principals unveiled a road map leading to their eventual exit from Nasa, setting the stage for a possible 2022 Third Force.
The Star established that Musalia Mudavadi (ANC), Kalonzo Musyoka (Wiper) and Moses Wetang'ula of Ford Kenya planned key meetings in the coming days to seal the divorce.
Kanu has also committed to severing its post-election coalition agreement with President Uhuru Kenyatta's Jubilee Party.

Opposition chief Raila Odinga is going flat out to reunite with Wiper boss Kalonzo Musyoka to bolster his 2022 State House chances against Deputy President William Ruto.
The Star established that the ODM boss is leaving nothing to chance in seeking to hammer a fresh deal with Kalonzo.
Raila's deal with Kalonzo would give President Uhuru Kenyatta a firm grip on his 2022 succession plans, which have been threatened by Ruto's resurgence and a divided opposition.
