Kalonzo launches mural challenge for youths to showcase talents

Wiper leader Kalonzo Musyoka has lauded youths from Korogocho, Kariobangi and Mathare for using their talent to make creative pieces.

He will launch the 'Kalonzo mural challenge' to give Kenyan creative artists the platform to showcase their talents.

The winner will get the opportunity to brand the SKM Command Centre.

Kalonzo made the announcement after visiting Raisers Hope at Bega kwa Bega Centre in Baba Dogo.

"It was amazing seeing the youth put into practise their talents of dance, art and music," he said.

"As a firm supporter of the creative arts industry, I enjoyed the opportunity to listen to their stories and engage with them about the industry."

Kalonzo said he learnt a lot from the youths.

"I thoroughly enjoyed myself. Hiyo experience iliweza."
