A man has been charged with stealing goods worth Sh42,000 from a lady in Kawangware, Nairobi county.

In the charge sheet, Brian Madegwa is accused of stealing from Pamella Muhalia on April 7. 

Madegwa is said to have sneaked into Muhalia’s house in the night and stole food remains, Television, microwave, mobile phones and a knife.

The next day, when Muhalia woke up, she noticed that her things were gone.

She then asked her neighbour if she had anything or saw anyone who could have stolen her belongings.

But he denied the charge before senior principal magistrate Charles Mwaniki on Tuesday.

He was released on Sh200,000 with the surety of the same amount.

The case will be mentioned on May 5.
