A man who has been on the run on suspicion of murdering his brother has been arrested.

Alex Kipkogei, 37, is accused of killing his younger brother over a land dispute in Chesitek-Keiyo North. 

DCI George Kinoti said Kipkogei was smoked out of his hideout at Ray Farm, Uasin Gishu on Saturday afternoon.

Kipkogei together with his other sibling who is still at large, had descended on their younger brother beating him to death over a piece of land.

The suspect is being processed for arraignment, as detectives intensify their search for the second suspect identified as John Lotema.
