Fumigator charged with defiling his employer’s daughter

A man who had been temporary employed to fumigate a bedbug-infected house in Kibera has been charged with defiling his boss's daughter in the house.

 The man was charged before Kibera senior principal Magistrate Monica Maroro where he denied the charges.

He is said to have committed the offence on diverse dates between the month of August 1 and August 31, 2020 in at Kibera DC area within Nairobi county.

He was charged with the second count of committing an indecent act with the child.

According to the minor's report filed at Kabete police station and present at the prosecution, the accused person had been given a temporary casual job to fumigate the house when he defiled her.

"The house was not organised and there was a mattress in the house, so he grabbed me to the mattress and defiled me, "the girl told the police.

It is alleged that the matter was revealed by the minor to her mother and the accused person was later arrested and charged.

He denied the charges and was released on a Sh500,000 bond with a surety of the same amount.

The case will proceed on January 22 for mention.
