Kilimo house, the headquarters of the Ministry of Agriculture, has been closed following a rise in Covid-19 cases.

According to a notice sent by Agriculture CS Peter Munya, the offices and facilities within the compound have been closed for two weeks with effect from December 1.

"This is due to a significant rise in Covid-19 infections among the staff at the building," read the notice.

Munya has directed all staff members to work from home until December 15 during which time fumigation and other relevant safety measures will be taken.
