1,211 cases recorded as 17 succumb to Covid-19

In Summary

• On a good note, 368 patients have recovered from the disease bringing the total number of recoveries in the country to 51,352

• Sadly, 17 patients have succumbed to the disease bringing the total number of fatalities to 1,366.

1,211 Kenyans have contracted Covid-19 in the last 24 hours from a sample size of 9,304 , bringing the cumulative tests to 833,004.

This brings the total number of positive cases to 76,404

Of the cases, 1,169 are Kenyans while 42 are foreigners.

 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 

722 are males while 489 are females.

The youngest is a one-month-old infant while the oldest is 95 years old.

Distribution of the cases by counties is as follows; Nairobi 410, Mombasa 102, Migori 93, Bungoma 79, Uasin Gishu 55, Kiambu 42, Nakuru 40, Kilifi 39, Nyeri 30, Busia 28, Laikipia 27, Turkana 26, Machakos 25, Kisii 2, Kajiado 21, Trans Nzoia 17, Kakamega nd Nyamira with 12 cases each and Homabay 11 cases. 

Siaya nine, Narok eight, Kitui seven, Embu five, Nandi, Kwale, Murang'a, Kericho and Garissa have four cases each, Taita Taveta has three cases together with Lamu, Elgeyo Marakwet, Isiolo and Tana River have two cases each as Wajir and Makueni have one case each.
