Forget Big 4 agenda and fight graft, Kabogo tells Uhuru

Former Kiambu Governor William Kabogo has urged President Uhuru Kenyatta to set aside his Big Four agenda and fight corruption before his constitutional term limit ends.

"Your second term is almost over and the only thing that you can leave behind is a clean government,” Kabogo said on Tuesday.

He spoke at St Francis Asissi Catholic Church during the burial of 72-year-old businessman Peter Ngoru.

Kabogo said the runaway corruption in some government institutions is unacceptable.

“Forget about the Big Four agenda and work on leaving Kenya a corruption-free country,” he said.

He decried the politics of insults that has taken centre-stage despite myriad problems facing Kenyans.

“They [politicians] are insulting each other while seeking elective posts as Kenyans suffered," the former governor said.
