The Nairobi Securities Exchange (NSE) Board has appointed Kiprono Kittony as its chairperson.
Kittony, who is the former national chairman of the Kenya National Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KNCCI), will replace outgoing chairman Samuel Kimani, who was appointed by the NSE Board on March 21, 2012.
He is the current chairman of Radio Africa Group and CEO at Capital Realtime Ltd.
Kittony was credited with the revival of KNCCI through a series of transformative initiatives during his tenure.
He took to Twitter to thank the NSE board for appointing him.

Kittony has a Bachelor of Commerce (Hons) from the University of Nairobi and a Global Executive MBA from USIU (in conjunction with Columbia University)
