A fire broke out at Waranga House along Sheikh Karume Road on Saturday morning.

The building has hardware shops on the ground floor, while residents live on the first floor.

No one was injured by the fire caused by welding works.

The fire started at 5.30am and Nairobi firefighters are yet to contain it.

The county deployed three fire engines to the scene.
