The rungu which came from Kalenjin elders was given out during the funeral service of Mzee Daniel Moi which is taking place in Kabarak.

 

 


Tuju admitted to ICU after crash on way to Moi funeral

Jubilee Party secretary general Raphael Tuju has been admitted to ICU after he was flown to Karen Hospital following an accident on Wednesday morning.

Sources told the Star that Tuju, who had chest pains, had to be taken to the Intensive Care Unit.

President Uhuru Kenyatta has narrated how he hid from Mzee Daniel Moi after he made a mistake.

Speaking during Moi's funeral service in Kabarak on Wednesday, Uhuru said a phone call came in at 5 am making him weary.

ODM leader Raila Odinga has eulogised the late retired president Daniel Moi as a great philosopher who had the power to predict what would happen.

Raila said Moi played a key role in the war against imperialists that later saw the release of all political detainees.
