Turkana Governor Josphat Nanok has declared his support for the Building Bridges Initiative saying it pushes for equity in development.

Nanok on Tuesday said recommendations in the BBI report will addresses inequality in development if implemented.

"We are fully in support of the Building Bridges Initiative process whose report was released to the public on Wednesday last week," Nanok said.

He was delivering the 6th state of the county address to the county assembly.

"Kenya is a republic majorly because of her citizens, land mass and natural resources and thus policies and strategies for development and resource sharing must seek to unleash the entire potential of Kenya’s resources for the benefit of all without leaving any section of this country behind."
