One person was killed and two others injured on Tuesday morning in an accident on Waiyaki Way.
The deceased was hit by a taxi driver while trying to cross the road.
The taxi driver tried to avoid hitting the pedestrian when he lost control of the car and ended up rolling into a ditch.

The driver and the passenger sustained minor injuries but the car was severely damaged.
The two were coming from Nairobi to Kikuyu when the accident occurred.
A witness who spoke to the Star said the scene was a black spot as pedestrians avoided using the footbridge and zebra crossing set out for them.
The body was later taken to the City mortuary.
