Financing health innovations and resource mobilisation is key in the achievement of universal health coverage, Health CS Sicily Kariuki has said. Kariuki urged parastatals, regulatory agencies and departments within the ministry to coordinate in promoting innovation and utilisation of local resources for the achievement of UHC. She spoke yesterday at KNH during the signing of the two-year contract with heads at the ministry.
“I call upon all departments to coordinate for the achievement of this Kenyan dream. President Kenyatta is keen on making sure every citizen can access credible, affordable and quality services,” Kariuki said.
