Seven people including three children have died in a road accident at Mzee Wanyama near Lake Elementaita in Nakuru on Tuesday evening.
Several others are nursing injuries at
Nakuru Level Five Hospital.
The passengers were headed to Nakuru from a burial ceremony of their kin in Kiptangwany when the accident occurred at 7.30pm.
Nakuru County Commander Hassan Barua said a tyre burst caused the vehicle to roll several times.
Two people died on the spot while five died on arrival at the hospital.
